A.PRESSE 23SAP-04-08M
今はなきカナダのワークウエアブランド GreatWesternGarmentの40"s ペインターパンツをベースにしたモデル。
GWGは70年代にリーバイス社に買収された。
表地は古着の再現を目指し、作成したオリジナルデニム。
13oz クラスに使用される太番手の緯糸を高密度に配し、経糸には当時の未熟な紡績技術が故のネップ感を、落ち綿を使用しつつ高密度に打ち込む事で表現。
ポケットディティールはそのままに配色ステッチやレッドストラップと呼ばれていたハンマーループなどは、主張が激しくならないように馴染ませ、より 素材とシルエットが際立つ様に作り込みをしている。
着用していた人が大事に履いていたのであろう、アタリ感の少ない綺麗なタテ落ちなど、本来ゆっくりと経年変化して出来た加工感を熟練の職人技で再現 した。
